New in New York Fashion Week
The best up-and-coming designers in this seasons show (Fall 2022).
I think one of the best up-and- coming designers is Catherine Holstein's who created a ready to wear collection Khaite. While Catherine is not the newest deisnger she has quickly become one of the hotest designers in New York. Her work contains a unique level of detail and building upon a foundation of robust yet polished items distinguished by expressive materials. She launched in 2016 and since then the ethos of the brand has been constructed on a foundation of cashmere sweaters, leather, denim, and tailoring. This collection does not stray from what she knows but the outcomes are remarkable, full of double breasted blazers, leather, shirts and mini skirts. Holstien also showed some stunning dressed finshed with Swarovski crystals.
Her show created a sexy vibe without overdoing the high heels or tacky dresses, which whers stopped during the week. I think this designer has proved her self once again and she will definitely be one to watch as her brand continues to grow.
