About us

This is a fashion and lifestyle blog, a place to keep updated on the latest trends, as well as, where we share insight on our experiences (specifically in NYC).
We started this blog in 2022 as a way to share our love for fashion and to document our experiences and lives at university.
Maddy attends FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and Tia is a student at Vanderbilt, Tennessee. We are friends whose shared love of fashion has only brought us closer and led to us creating this blog.
Hi I'm Maddy, I have always wanted to be a part of fashion and want to go into digital advertising and marketing within the fashion industry, and travel around Asia explore different fashion cultures. I grew up in China and Singapore and this has altered my view of the fashion industry therefore I have always been more interested in the digital creation side.
I'm Tia. My background at the age of 19 is a tad complicated. I grew up in Hong Kong, at 14 I wanted a change, which led me to boarding school - Millfield - in the UK. During Covid, my family moved out of Hong Kong and put everything into storage, leading us to live nowhere for about 1 year (moving around from airbnbs across the world). Eventually, being Swiss, my parents moved us to Zürich, Switzerland. Upon graduating sixth form, I got offered a merit/academic scholarship to study at Parsons School of Design in NYC, which I took...for a year. In NYC, I got a job as a podcast research assistant for 2 interior designers - a team of 4 total -, I was given a private tour and meet of the Ralph Lauren R&D team and studios, I had a memoir published in the Parsons First Year Exhibition as well as Journal, I had 2 artworks of mine displayed both in the Parsons Gallery and in a student expo, etc. I love NYC to this day and will always love its opportunities, memories and experiences it will and has provided me...HOWEVER, I have just accepted a position to go to Nashville, Tennessee and study at Vanderbilt University. At 19 years old, I will have lived in 5 cities, 4 countries, 3 continents. All of these experience's have allowed me to grow along with my interests. A creative industry is still what I hope to go into and its something I want to show that you don't have to give up your other interests (by going to a specific arts school) in order to do so.
